Aspiring Polymath

A native of Bali, Rajasthan, I hate choices and try to get all the things on my life’s to-do-list ticked off. That explains the many hats I wear:
- Bachelors degree in commerce
- Masters in social and market research
- Advanced diploma in tourism and travel
- Full-time researcher by profession
- Pursuing Chartered Accountancy
- Freelance travel writer

Having led the Interact Club at the Scholar High School I went on to become President of the Rotaract club and the General Secretary of the Students' Council at H.R. college. I have been associated with the Rotary International movement through it's voluntary Interact and Rotaract programs since over a decade now. During my days at H.R. College I worked with the Sheriff of Mumbai on some of Mumbai's civic projects. Taking my volunteering experience to the next level I volunteered to organise the greatest games on Earth in 2012, by being a part of the Language and Protocol Services for the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympic Games and hope to go for the Games in Sochi and Rio de Janeiro too.

I am a keen follower of entrepreneurship and having worked in UK's only student run junior enterprise I now freelance with a start-up called Indian Compass, which is an online guidebook for Indians traveling to Europe. My full-time job as a researcher in direct marketing has kept me sane as it brings some stability to my life. I hope to use my research skills in the international development and social research spheres in the near future.

I am currently based out of London where in my free time you will find me learning Japanese, sketching at art galleries, singing in choirs, attending fashion festivals, acting in drama societies and star gazing, that is only if I am not away, travelling around Europe! I run a Facebook Group called DiscoveryOfLondon which helps me keep a log of the cultural activities that I visit with my friends.

Lastly, I love magical stories so if you have one to narrate, I am all ears...

I would love to hear from you. Get in touch and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
